Since its inception, the city of light has welcomed with open arms members of the Maghrebin diaspora to celebrate together the Berber New Year Yennayer 2976. This tradition has become a hallmark event in our community and is an excellent example of integrating our cultures at the heart of Paris.<\/p>\n

The Berber New Year, also known as Yennayer, marks the beginning of the year according to the lunar calendar used by the Berbers. This celebration has its roots in the traditions and rites of the Amazigh people from North Africa.<\/p>\n
